North State Giving Tuesday

Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday.

Each year at Thanksgiving and the week following, we have a day for giving thanks, two days for getting deals, and we also have a nationally recognized day for giving back – Giving Tuesday – join in the excitement of this one day only online giving event in the North State!

For nonprofits wishing to participate in the 2017 event, registration is now open for an August workshop that is mandatory for being included at this event.

We invite you to “give where you live” for the benefit of our local nonprofits that do such important work in Shasta and Siskiyou Counties during #NorthStateGivingTuesday!  By making an online donation at on Tuesday, November 28th between 6 AM and 8 PM Pacific Time, your dollars will go further thanks to incentives of more than $85,000 provided by the Knodel Family Endowment Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation to registered North State nonprofits, specifically those in Shasta and Siskiyou counties! To make it exciting and fun, nonprofits will also be eligible for random hourly prizes throughout the day thanks to our generous local business sponsors.

At our secure online web portal you can designate your donation by credit or debit card to one or more of your favorite nonprofits in Siskiyou and/or Shasta County. NEW for 2017 - schedule your donations IN ADVANCE! One-stop annual giving!

Outreach and business partners in the region’s communities have been incredibly generous in their support of the North State Giving Tuesday event as active ambassadors getting the word out and encouraging others to do their year-end giving online in an effort to strengthen our nonprofit sector. Please become one of them!

The website is updated as current year registered nonprofits are verified to participate.
