REGISTER NOW for North State Giving Tuesday Mandatory Orientation
Are you or a nonprofit organization you know interested in raising money for your cause?
Join in North State Giving Tuesday, a regional online event coordinated by the Community Foundation on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, this year on November 27th.
All nonprofits in Shasta, Siskiyou, and Tehama counties wishing to participate in North State Giving Tuesday must attend one of the orientation workshops offered in multiple locations during the month of August. Up to 2 people per organization may attend an orientation workshop. These mandatory workshops will provide an event overview and details on new features and surprises planned for this year. They will also offer a chance to get your questions answered before the formal event registration deadline of September 5, 2018.
The dates, times, and registration links are below; plan ahead as these are the only offerings for this mandatory component for nonprofit participation.
Please note, to be eligible to participate in the 2018 event, an organization must meet the following requirements:
• Must be a public, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization• Must be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service, and the State of California as a nonprofit corporation
• Must be in good standing with Shasta Regional Community Foundation• Must be based in and/or provide services out of a physical, public location in Shasta, Siskiyou, or Tehama counties• Must be at least two years old and must be able to provide two years of financials
